There’s a New Buick Car Out on the Market
Whether you’re looking for a sedan, coupe, or crossover, there’s a new Buick car out on the market. Buick is part of General Motors, and its history dates back to 1899, when automotive pioneer David Dunbar Buick founded the company. The company would later become the foundation of the company that we know today. In the process, Buick helped to develop many other auto brands, including Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Cadillac.
2022 Buick Encore
The 2022 Buick Encore is an all-new sedan from the brand. Although this vehicle has been on sale since 2013, it’s received a major facelift in 2017. That facelift included a new front fascia, redesigned interior, and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, the car hasn’t received much change since then. The 2022 Buick Encore will feature the same engine but with a higher output, 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The Buick Encore is available only in Preferred trim and comes with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Those looking for more features should consider the Encore GX. Although the Encore is smaller than rivals, it can seat four passengers comfortably and carry decent amounts of cargo. The Preferred trim comes with standard features such as touchscreen infotainment. However, the Buick Encore lacks modern driver-assistance features.
2022 Buick Enclave
The next generation Buick Enclave has received some updates. This model now offers standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features a new center console and upgraded wireless charging pads. Other changes include the addition of a camera mirror in the rear hatch. This camera mirror lets you see what’s going on in your rear view without being blocked by tall cargo or the head of the rear passenger. You’ll also find additional standard safety features, such as adaptive cruise control.
The Enclave has impressive cargo space, with 23.6 cubic feet behind the third row and a massive 57.7 cubic feet behind the second row. It can even hold a dorm room’s worth of stuff. Another notable feature is the hands-free power liftgate. This feature is not standard on all Buick Enclaves, but it is available on the Sport Touring. Compared to other SUVs in its class, the Enclave also offers more space than its competitors.
2022 Buick Enclave Avenir
The new 2022 Buick Enclave Avenir will feature front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. While front-wheel drive offers more control and fuel economy, all-wheel-drive is better in terms of handling and traction. This Buick crossover SUV weighs 4,469 pounds, and it gets the same fuel economy ratings as its other trims. The new Buick Enclave is expected to reach the showroom floor in May.
The new model will be equipped with a host of technologies to help you stay safe on the road. The infotainment system has an 8.0-inch touchscreen, as well as Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless smartphone compatibility, and two USB charging ports per row. The new Buick Enclave is offered in three trim levels: Essence, Premium, and Avenir. Each trim offers different tech features, and you can choose the one that meets your needs best. For instance, the Premium trim includes a hands-free liftgate, massaging front seats, and a nice instrument cluster screen.
2022 Buick Envision
The 2022 Buick Envision is a new model for the company. You can expect to pay at least $31,800 for the entry-level Envision Preferred trim. The standard features include an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four USB ports, satellite radio, a six-speaker audio system, keyless entry and push-button start, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic high-beam headlights, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Other standard safety features include automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist.
The exterior features similar to those of the GMC Denali. The top-of-the-line Envision Avenir model is equipped with a panoramic moonroof and a heated front and rear outboard seat. A new sport-trim package adds an alloy pedal cover, clear-lensed LED taillights, and contrasting red stitching on the seats. A new optional exterior color, Sapphire Metallic, is available.
