Gluten Free in Spanish Restaurants in Spain

Whether you are going on vacation to Spain or just wishing you could eat some gluten free Spanish food while you are in the country, there are some great places you can try out. In this article, you will find out some of the best restaurants in Spain where you can get some delicious gluten free Spanish food.

Cantina Teguise

Located in a historic building in Teguise, Cantina Teguise is a great place to sample some of the best of the Canary Islands’ food and drink. With a menu that offers a variety of choices, you can expect to find anything from gourmet veggie burgers to classic Cuban cuisine. With great service, an ambience worthy of a royal court, and a stylish design, Cantina Teguise really does have it all.

The best part is that Cantina Teguise’s gluten free offerings aren’t all that bad. For starters, they source their ingredients from local farms and breweries. They also have a menu with gluten free buns for their burgers, as well as a gluten free selection of beers.

Esquina Teguise

Located in the heart of historic Teguise, Esquina Teguise is a thriving arts and crafts community, offering visitors a plethora of options for dining, drinking and browsing. If you’re on the hunt for the real Lanzarote, then Esquina is the place to visit.

As you’d expect from a gastronomic establishment, the menu is dominated by a variety of seafood specialties, with a nod to gluten free cuisine. One of the most popular items on the menu is a burger made from gluten free buns. It’s also home to the city’s first supper club, so you can indulge in a full meal without any gluten related qualms.

Restaurante Comes en Toledo

Whether you have celiac disease or are simply looking for a gluten free restaurant in Toledo, Spain, you should do some research. There are several restaurants in Toledo that have gluten free options available. These restaurants offer meals that are free from gluten and other common allergens.

One of the best options in Toledo is the restaurant El Antiguo. This restaurant is located thirty minutes outside of Madrid and offers gluten free tapas. It is a great pit stop if you are driving to Toledo.

Another restaurant that offers gluten free meals is the Madre Tierra. This restaurant is family-friendly and has a wide range of dishes. It also has gluten-free bread and chips.

Mosquito Tapas

Located in the heart of Born, Mosquito Tapas is a dim sum restaurant with a modern Asian twist. While the restaurant may seem kitschy at first glance, the quality of the food and service is top notch. They also serve a good beer, as well as some of the best fried duck around. With a seating capacity of over 150, the restaurant can get a little crowded after 8PM. This is not the place to go for a quiet dinner, but it is the place to go for a lively night out with friends.

In addition to the most important dish of the day, the restaurant boasts a slew of craft beers and some of the best dim sum in town. The best time to visit is late afternoon, early evening.

Chok The Chocolate Shop

Located in The Esplanade mall in Saudi Arabia, Chok The Chocolate Shop is a posh confectionery par excellence. Not only do they serve up tasty confections, but they’ve got a stellar beverage selection as well. And if you’re in the mood for a high-end cocktail, they can whip up some cocktails in your own private booth.

Not only is Chok The Chocolate Shop a chocolate desserts store, but they’re also a gourmet cheesecake and donut par excellence. In fact, they’ve got more than a dozen outlets in total. Aside from the Saudi market, Chok The Chocolate Shop has opened up shop in Valencia and Gibraltar as well.

Celicioso

Whether you’re looking for a coffee break, an epic dessert selection, or a full-blown brunch, Celicioso is a great place to go in Madrid. Their cafĂ© has gluten free, sugar free, and vegan options, which is great for those with dietary restrictions.

The bakery’s trolley is constantly filled with fresh bread. You can also buy gluten free baked goods including merengue pie, apple tartlette, and chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. And don’t forget the Ensaimada, which is a traditional Mallorcan pastry.
